International Program and Degree Levels
COA offers an International Program, meaning the learning system uses International Distance Education standards and the syllabus/courses are based on the International Program Curriculum. COA concentrates on the following Degree Levels:
- Bachelor
- Master (including MBA)
- Doctoral (including Ph.D.)
Course Activities and SKS (Semester Credit Unit) System
Learning activities based on the prevailing SKS system in Distance Education differ slightly from conventional lectures. Face-to-face activities are combined with structured academic activities.
- If face-to-face activity is required, the primary option must be mediated face-to-face activity using IT (Information Technology) and Communication media (e.g., videoconference, Skype, webinar, etc.).
- If still necessary, physical face-to-face activities can be conducted, but with a minimal number/frequency.
Practical activities (Practicum) involving Information Technology and Communication can be carried out remotely and supervised. This is achieved through collaboration with various locations that can provide practicum opportunities to students and supply supervisors for the required practicum process and evaluation.
Innovation and Flexibility in Online Study
COA (College Oxford Asia) has been a leading innovator in flexible study for over 10 years, committed to helping busy working individuals study anywhere.
COA implements higher education based on International Program standards (distance education). The Distance Education program is flexible, meaning students can learn according to their needs, abilities, and learning speed. This flexibility allows students to pursue the Distance Education program at a pace that suits them in terms of study duration.
Online learning, also referred to as ‘distance education’ (or external/off-campus study), provides students with the opportunity to learn without having to physically attend a campus. It is the online learning method for individuals who wish to learn and develop themselves without being tied to a specific schedule or location. Students from across Indonesia and abroad can simply attend distance lectures online.
COA offers online study and accelerates the level of education with affordable costs, representing the fastest, easiest, and simplest educational approach. The institute is an international online distance learning institution where the educational process utilizes modern Internet communication forms. Students can earn educational degrees: Associate, Bachelor’s, Master, MBA, Doctoral, and Ph.D.
